Who I Am

From the circuit board to the source code

I’m Bram, a Kortrijk-based developer with a unique background. Before transitioning into tech via MCT, I spent six years as an electrician. That experience taught me to build with a craftsman’s precision, a mindset I now apply to every line of code.

When I’m not at my desk, I’m likely playing padel, indoor football, or hitting the spinning bike. I am a perfectionist who thrives in team environments and a former entrepreneur who once launched my own beer, Nois Tripel. My drive for new experiences also extends to a love for travel, as I’m always looking to explore new cultures and broaden my perspective.

Stop It!

For my hardware prototyping course, I designed and developed an arcade-style reflex game called "Stop It!". Built entirely from scratch without relying on any external software libraries, the game challenges a player's reaction time and focus.

dexignlab is a modern financial dashboard demonstrating a seamless transition from a custom Figma design system to a responsive React frontend. Built with strict accessibility standards in mind, it features interactive data visualizations, advanced CSS Grid layouts, and a dynamic light/dark theme based on user system preferences.

Expense App

A mobile app design created to easily track and split group expenses. The project consists of a high-fidelity UI design, built entirely in Figma based on provided UX wireframes. It focuses on a clean, user-friendly interface featuring three core screens: an expense overview, an expense list, and a screen to add new expenses.

Memory XL

Memory XL is an "Active Gaming" experience that combines physical activity with digital gameplay, powered by a Raspberry Pi. Players use a wireless barcode scanner to find matching wooden tiles, while the system tracks turns and time using light-up arcade buttons and a buzzer. The entire game, including modes like "Speed Mode" and "Time Sprint", is managed through a custom web dashboard navigated with a built-in joystick.

BeerGuard is a Raspberry Pi 5-powered IoT system designed to safeguard 'Nois Tripel' beer. It monitors environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, light) and automates inventory and access control using weight sensors and RFID, all accessible via a custom real-time web dashboard.
